CHALLENGE:
Create an immersive road trip-inspired event experience for Nordstrom that would drive customer engagement, increase event sign-ups, and translate the brand’s vision into a memorable physical environment. The project required close collaboration across clients, event planners, influencers, vendors, and freelancers while balancing creative direction, production timelines, and customer experience goals.

STRATEGY:
Worked collaboratively with internal teams, clients, event planners, influencers including Ashton Earle, and freelance partners to develop a cohesive experiential event from concept through execution. The event was designed around a road trip-inspired theme, with each major city represented through its own custom installation and environment to create a unique customer journey throughout the space.

The creative process began with moodboards and visual direction to align teams on the overall aesthetic and experience, followed by detailed site visits to map installation placement, customer flow, and event logistics ahead of production. To further drive engagement, we created a physical road trip map that attendees could bring to each activation stop and stamp with a custom car stamp. Customers who completed every stop were entered for a chance to win a prize, encouraging full-event participation and interaction across all installations.

The concepts were ultimately brought to life through custom-built installations and branded environmental experiences that created an engaging and memorable atmosphere for customers. Through strong cross-functional coordination, strategic planning, and experiential design, the event generated over 100,000 customer sign-ups and was considered an overall success for both the brand and attendees.
